What exactly counts as a connection request?

A connection request is the moment you tap “Request to connect” on a specific technician. Searching the directory, filtering by trade or coverage, and viewing profiles are always unlimited and never counted. You only spend a request when you initiate contact with a specific technician.

What happens if I go over my monthly allowance?

Nothing breaks — you keep going. Each request beyond your plan’s allowance is billed at the overage rate listed on your tier ($4 / $3 / $2 for Starter / Pro / Scale). We never block a paying customer mid-month.

Can I change tiers later?

Yes. Upgrade any time and the new allowance applies immediately, prorated for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you keep the allowance you already paid for.

Is there an annual discount?

Yes — roughly 20% off any published tier when you commit to twelve months. We don’t publish the exact annual price because we sometimes tune it per deal. Mention annual billing when you talk to us and we’ll quote the rate.

Do you take a cut of the technician’s work?

No. Workboardr is paid only by your subscription. Once you’re connected, scope, scheduling, pricing, and payment happen directly between you and the technician. We never invoice the job and never take a percentage of it.

Do you offer a free trial?

We don’t open up the directory for free trials — the directory is the product. We do offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Starter and Pro: if it’s not the right fit in your first two weeks, we refund the month, no questions asked.
